Common Issues and Failure Symptoms:

Several known issues can arise with the EPS system in the 2011–2014 Hyundai Sonata, often requiring replacement.

1. EPS Warning Light:

   • One of the first signs of failure is the EPS (Electric Power Steering) warning light illuminating on the dashboard.

   • This indicates a fault detected by the module, often related to motor torque sensors, software issues, or communication failure.

2. Intermittent or Complete Loss of Power Steering Assist:

   • Drivers may notice intermittent stiffness or a sudden, consistent loss of power steering assistance.

   • Steering becomes difficult, especially at low speeds, mimicking manual steering effort.

3. Noisy Operation:
